First Term

As co-founder and partner in one of Atlantic Canada’s newest immigration practices – Home Port Immigration Services Inc. – William brings 25+ years of executive corporate experience in communications, stakeholder and government relations across Canada to his new role assisting clients manage their Canadian immigration journeys. A graduate of the Queen’s University GDipICL program, Willliam also has a BPR from Mount Saint Vincent University and draws on his strategic skill set when working with clients, while never losing sight of the smallest details. A seventh generation Canadian, in the late 19th and early 20th century William’s ancestors operated a general merchant store across the park in front of the Westin Nova Scotian (the 2024 NCIC host hotel), packing provisions for new immigrants to Canada as they arrived at Pier 21, cleared customs, and prepared to board trains on their journey to settle in other parts of Canada. William is exceptionally proud to honour his family’s past in his new RCIC-IRB role, providing guidance and assistance to those seeking to enter or stay in Canada.
